The Missouri Students Association approved legislation to create a crosswalk on College Avenue to deter pedestrian-vehicle accidents. Six people have been involved in accidents between University Avenue and Rollins Road since 2006.

Sophomore Josh Travis hosts the first town hall meeting addressing the drinking age, college drinking and the Amethyst Initiative on Thursday in Stotler Lounge. In the beginning of the meeting, 70 percent of students in attendance voted they would like the drinking age lowered, but 56 percent of the same students preferred to keep the drinking age at 21 at the end.
